This nursery was designed with a timeless, vintage-inspired English cottage feel - classic, cheerful, and nostalgic The look centers around soft sage green and white stripes, dusty blue accents, and rich wood and brass tones that make the room feel grounded and inviting. I love mixing timeless patterns of different scales to create a cozy, collected, traditional feel, and balancing them with woven textures and aged brass finishes to bring in a cottage farmhouse aesthetic.
The vertical ticking stripe wallpaper sets a clean, traditional backdrop that pairs beautifully with the brass crib and wood dresser. These pieces bring warmth and texture while keeping the look classic enough to grow with. I added botanical, woodland inspired accents throughout the design to give it energy and personality - a woodland bird lamp, floral curtains, classic landscape art over the crib and block print floral accent pillow. The soft green, cream and blue color palette ties everything together.
Every product in this space is chosen with both design and safety in mind, prioritizing low-toxin products to create a healthy room for baby. The crib and dresser are made from solid wood and finished with low-toxin materials, and the textiles are all baby-safe and easy to maintain.
